Maria Malott (Pres. SABA): You can be rightfully proud of your accomplishments
For the meritorious work of internationalization of Behavior Analysis and Behavior-Based Safety, SABA has decided to honor the president AARBA – Fabio Tosolin – with the 2012 International Development Grant. This is a check for $ 1,000 to finance their registration with the competent authorities the authorship of the file B-BS Requirements, which defines the requirements of a behavioral safety process to be certified. AARBA, in collaboration with the Cambridge Center for Behavioral Studies (CCBS) and two leading certification bodies (TÜV, Rina), has worked for more than a year to establish the certification path that a company must follow in order to be said to have in a process of B-BS capable of reducing accidents. This certification, unlike many others, will not verify the bureaucracy but the frequency and quality of a B-BS tasks (checklists, observations, meetings, action plans, plans, awards, etc.) and – above all – that those activities have resulted in a measurable reduction in injuries and medications.
Congratulations! I am delighted to inform you that the Society for the Advancement of Behavior Analysis (SABA) Board of Directors has selected you as one of four recipients of the 2012 International Development Grant. The SABA Board considered a large pool of applications, and your submission demonstrated an especially notable and strong commitment to the field of behavior analysis and its dissemination. You can be rightfully proud of your accomplishments.
