Research Program for Autism and Intellectual Disabilities: European Union finances with 9 milion euros
Overview
The new Marie Curie research programme in the field of autism and intellectual disabilities is started. The programme, called ASSISTID, is the first and largest of it’s kind in Europe. Quality international candidates of a wide range of disciplines including ABA, rehabilitation, computer science and engineering are invited to partecipate. Fellowships
The programme has 40 fellowships: two calls of 20 fellowships each. The first call starts in september and ends in november 2014. The second from june 2015 to august 2015. Fellowships are assigned in the following criteria: 16 incoming fellowships and 4 outgoing fellowships with compulsory return phase. The duration is of 24 months for incoming fellowships and 36 months for outgoing fellowships. Research Area: Assistive Technologies for autism and intellectual disability.

Requirements
Only experienced researcher are required with a doctoral degree or at least 4 years of full-time equivalent research experience.
